Region description

Asia Pacific is a very important Region of FFN, having a major role in educational events, global projects and alliances. There are currently 12 established national FFNs, while more countries are in the process of joining the FFN family. Asia Pacific national FFNs have a great contribution in the success of all FFN projects, providing expertise and innovational ideas.

Dr Khor Hui Min is a consultant geriatrician and associate professor in University of Malaya, Malaysia. Dr Khor has special interests in orthogeriatric care and bone health in older persons. She initiated the Fragility Hip Fracture Liaison Service in 2016 and was involved in international research studies in hip fracture and bone health. She is the Vice President of FFN Malaysia and Deputy Chair for FFN Asia Pacific Regionalisation Committee.
