FFN is pleased to announce the opportunity for our members to attend a Clinical Observership in Fragility Fracture Service at the Birmingham Heartlands Hospital. 

Attachment Title: Clinical Observer in Femoral Fragility Fracture Service

Accountable to: Lead for Femoral Fragility Trauma Service (Dr A. Nikolaidis)

Appropriate for: Orthopaedic surgeons, geriatricians, internal medicine, Physiotherapists, nurses, rehabilitation staff

Key working relationships: Consultants, Junior Medical staff, Nursing staff, Rehabilitation staff, Operational and General management staff in the Division

Hours of Placement: Up to 40 hours per week

Weeks of Placement: 1 to 4 weeks depending on the review required. Option of extension to 6 weeks if additional time requested and observer ship available

Position Role: Clinical Observer level responsibilities in Femoral Fragility Trauma Service. No clinical care will be provided
