Abstract Submission

General Information

• Authors may submit an abstract for a poster presentation in a digital format.
• There will be a link to the poster online and each presenter will be able to show their poster on their own device.
• An author can submit multiple poster however only one will be accepted so they can present it
• Presenters of the top 5 selected posters will be asked to give a short oral presentation.
• Abstract submissions must be received by the Fragility Fracture Network Scientific Committee by June 15, 2024.  You will be informed about the review result the first week of July.


Submission Guidelines

When composing your abstract submission for Poster Presentation, please adhere to the following:
• The maximum word count is 250 words (excluding title, authors and affiliations).
• Include bolded structured headings as follows: Aims, Methods, Results and Conclusions. Some submissions may not lend themselves to this structure. Leave a blank line space in between each section. Subheadings should be followed by the text on the same line.
• Please do not include figures, tables or references within the submission.
• Numerical data and statistical analysis (as appropriate) must be presented in the abstract. Statements such as “findings will be discussed” or “data will be presented” are not appropriate and will result in rejection of the abstract.
• Abbreviations must only be used if defined immediately after the full word or if the phrase is used for the first time.
• Please ensure that the title or abstract text does not contain identifiable author information as the abstract will be blind reviewed by the FFN Scientific Committee
